With only a small number of private rented student houses/flats, that tend to be quite expensive. The social life revolves around the University bars and Student Union. Though pleasant this area lacks a real community feel. |

Is conveniently located with a wide choice of low cost houses, however its not the most salubrious of locations and Highfields has a reputation for prostitution & drugs, the properties here tend to be cheap & cheerful. |

With Halls of Residence all around the campus site, this is Fresher Heaven! However for those planning for their 2nd and 3rd years you will be glad to have moved on after living there for a full year. At night time some of the streets can be a little seedy. |

Even more upmarket than Clarendon Park, with some truly majestic properties. If you want exclusivity & refinement it doesn’t get better than this. Under 15 min’s walk from the University it’s a great location. |

If you’re studying nursing, or a sports fan then this is the ideal place for you, being right opposite the hospital, with the Leicester Tigers rugby ground and Leicester Walkers football stadium nearby. |

You can find some very high quality flats in this area, however they can be very expensive! & you might have to get used to the noise & pollution. Though with all the bars, & night-clubs on your doorstep its time to Party Hard! |

This is the most desirable place to live in Leicester for students. Lying opposite Victoria Park, it’s under 5 minutes walk from University, with the bars, shops & services of Queens Road nearby. It has a uniquely refined & friendly atmosphere with local corner shops close by. |
